What Clients Say:

Thanks Laurel, We couldn't have done it without you! Being a first time dog owner I was truly in the dark. Mark wasn't even sure he wanted a dog, but I promised I'd lead the training. You have no idea how much I appreciate all I learned from you in the classes and from the support you offered to reinforce that learning when it was needed. I now know I will never live without a dog again. And Mark adores her. Josie and Ty too of course!! Sadie has added so much to our lives and the training she received made all the difference in the world for us.

Big thanks, Mary

Obedience Training: Levels Classes-
dogs 4 months +
Levels classes allow you to fit dog training into your busy schedule and progress at your own pace.  You never have to miss a class again due to scheduling conflicts!  Just pay for a series of classes and sign up for the dates YOU want to attend.  Come once a week, every other week, or twice a week.... whatever works for you!   Each skill is broken down into smaller components (called levels) and as you master each level, you will immediately begin learning the next level of that skill.  The classes are ongoing, so you can start whenever you are ready!

Skills taught include: sit, down, stand, stay, polite greetings (no jumping), wait at doors, come, leave it, and walking on leash.  As students progress, distance and distractions will be added to each skill.

K9 Nose Work Classes:
Dogs have an amazing sense of smell!  Playing search games is a great outlet for energetic dogs, a wonderful way to keep older dogs active, and even helps fearful dogs build confidence.  Plus, it is fun for the humans too!  Whether you are just out to have fun or hope to compete in this fun new sport, you are welcome to learn with us!

Introduction to K9 Nose Work: This beginning class will
help you focus your dog's scenting ability using food or a toy
while you learn to "read" your dog's body language when s/he is
     searching.

Introduction to Odor:  This second level Nose Work class
introduces you and your dog to the first official nose work odor.

Continuing Nose Work:  For graduates of Introduction to
Odor.  At this level, students will learn all of the componenets for
competition (interior, exterior, vehicle, and box searches) and
     advance to more difficult hides.
